Hollow Wooden Surfboards - The Original surfboards! These SUPs are very unique in that they have no foam core. They are engineered using airplane wing technology. They are Lightweight, strong, stiff and represent the finest wood craftsmanship on the market. The boards are manufactured with redwood, basswood, cedar and other woods depending on the customers’ preference. This includes hand crafted all wood edges that are shaped, fitted, glued and sanded to a fine finish. No other manufacturer is doing this!

Another unique feature is the finish. The bottom is finished using a traditional epoxy resin for resistance against scratching. The top however is finished using a polyurethane. This makes for a super clear, hard and UV resistant coating. With regards to the fin...the customer can choose how many and what type- pvc or retro wood (glassed on).

Yet another unique feature is the ability to create art on the board using wood burning and / or stain under the final finish. We can create almost any artwork that the customer specifies. NO other manufacturers' in the market today can offer these unique options.

We felt that there were a few features of a top of the line SUP that should come standard with the board. These include: vented leash plugs, fin and a handle.

The biggest problem I've had after producing these gorgeous wood SUPs is what to do about deck traction. Why have a great looking wood board if you are going to cover it with a pad?

So that is why I offer three options for remedy-

The most preferred is a series of non permanent non-skid pads that you apply prior to paddling and can easily remove after.
The second option is the use of traditional wax.
The third option is a clear peel and stick option.

If you want a bit of foam comfort, we can apply a super-lightweight, non-H20 absorbing, SeaDek EVA foam pad in the standing area that blends in with the board's aesthetics. You can customize the colors and / or graphics. It is the same non skid pad that I've used for 12 years on my custom extended swim platforms.
